ISME organised a sports day on Saturday, the 2nd October as a part of its social club activities.
The day commenced with the volleyball and the girls throw ball games which were held adjacent to the campus premises. It was a close finish with the team from section 3, alias “Pehel” walking away with the coveted first place. The cricket matches that followed took place at the Ujjwal school ground in Whitefield. .
As the day progressed, the girls throwball matches began. With a large crowd cheering for them and after some intense competition, the girls from section 2, also known as “Predators” walked away with the accolades and the first prize.
The only team yet to open score was section a.k.a. “Phoenix” but that was taken care of during the cricket match. It was the most awaited sport of the day. The boys were in form and ready to play. It was down to the final match between Pehel and Phoenix. Both teams had excellent players, some having played for their respective States. After a nail biting innings, Phoenix emerged victorious.
At the end of the day, each section had won a game and the sportsman’s spirit prevailed. Amidst the celebrating students, ISME called it a day.
