On Saturday, 30th September 2011, the 2nd Alumni Meet was held by the Academic Club members along with the Dandiya
Raas organized by the Social Club members of ISME, Navi Mumbai. It was a great opportunity to meet the seniors of Bangalore and Navi Mumbai branches, the ones who are currently working in the corporate world. A panel of two alumni and one senior student was chaired by Prof. Riyaz Surve. They shared their experiences in the corporate world about the importance of discipline, time and stress management, corporate politics and most importantly, the transition from academics to industry. We learned that the corporate are looking for knowledge to be translated in skills and working for which we need to build competencies, trust and commitment. This could be gained by “Believing in self”.
The meet was concluded by the Dandiya Party organized by the Social Club members which was enjoyed in full swing by all the students, past and present, of ISME…
